D'Atri's in LaVale would be a good place for the rehearsal dinner. Bars are a dime a dozen here. For visitors, I would recommend Niner's Canal Pub or the place where the Canal Pub used to be right on the corner by it (forget the new name) for drinks post-reception. Both places are short walks to the Holiday and Fairfield Inns.
Fun things to do in Cumberland in the Fall? Outdoor stuff would be best, but the Scenic Railroad is always a hit (it does take a good bit of time though.)
