Woodland village/park in EC and Elkridge boarder, any expriences? (townhouse, neighborhood)

We are moving into a townhouse in woodland village community next month, just want to get some more direct experience (best from people who lived or still live there).

The community is on Old Stockbridge Rd, very close to Costco elkridge, 103, 100 and I95. I talked to one of the neighbors who seemed to be happy about it, noise, neighborhood wise etc.

The area is relatively close to BWI, but I don't know how the airplane noise would be at night, at least for the few times I was there, nothing disturbed me.

Another issue is the safety, generally it was fine from spotcrime.com, but there was a robbery in the parking lot in May a block away from our home at 10pm. I hope that's just a total random incident.

How about the traffic in the rush hour? On map it's close to all major highway, but I feel in reality it's close to all major "jammed" highway. My commute will be towards Washignton, is there any alternative routes other than go all the way to Rt 29? Looks like Rt 1 and I95 are equally bad in rush hour.
