I will be making $60,000. Newly married couple and my wife will need to find a job in either Baltimore or D.C. We would prefer to live in a larger city feel if we can afford the rent for a nicer place.
Is the commute from Baltimore -> Beltsville doable? Any suggestions on where to live if I work in Beltsville? We are a young, lively couple who enjoy going out and doing things

Yes, the commute is do-able. However, I'd suggest living somewhere closer to work such as Hyattsville so you don't spend 2-2.5 hours a day commuting. There will be plenty of time on the weekends to visit DC and Baltimore for urben amenities.
