Kcmo you are wrong when you say hardly anything is a urban ghetto in Annapolis , go down newtowne dr where newtowne 20 housing projects is, if you make it alive right about your experience. Go all the way to the end near Betsy or Brooke Court and get out and talk to the people. Or go down Frederick Douglas , or Tyler Ave , or Madison st . These places are just as bad as Baltimore’s worst areas. I know because I been to them all and been to worst spots of west Baltimore city. And south east DC

Please don’t actually do this. I don’t want anything bad to happen to you. Don’t actually get out and talk to anyone , you wouldn’t want to anyways and just driving down there would show you have the place is no joke . Especially newtowne 20, I bet that’s the worst hood in Annapolis . So many shootings . Prob worse than Robinhood , I never been down robin wood but I have been down newtowne and I can honestly tell you something happened to me , and I was doing my job for work . The place has security cameras in parking lots and armed security and police patrolling and they still don’t care , they still shoot .

I've had occasion to ride the bus route that serves the public-housing complexes off Forest Drive. I would agree that Newtowne Twenty appears to be the worst of the lot. Robinwood has a horrible reputation, and it sure doesn't look very nice; but last time I went through there, it didn't have the rampant loitering that Newtowne Twenty was afflicted with.

Technically speaking, Newtowne Twenty is just the public housing at the end of Newtowne Drive, at Betsy Court and Brooke Court. The apartment complexes along the way are Woodside Gardens. They appear to have been built as regular apartments (as opposed to being purpose-built as public housing, as Newtowne Twenty obviously was), but the blight has overtaken them. The townhouses closer up towards Forest Drive still look fairly nice, but there's no way in the world I'd want to live anywhere that close to Newtowne Twenty.
