I bought a Trinity home that had been a rental. It was 5 years old. They also just finished their basement. Overall the quality looks good, but there have been some problems, and at this point they have not stood behind them. I have been very upset with their unwillingness to fix problems on the basement that they finished less than 1 month ago.

What's price range are you looking in? That could help narrow down the communities and builders that are available, since you are looking for a neighborhood in progress

I too am looking to build a home in Howard County. I've talked to Trinity. Does anyone have experience with Castle Rock Builders? Anyone lived or been inside their finished product?

Viking Custom Homes does a high quality build in Howard County. The construction is quality and the owner is trustworthy. Green energy if you care about that, but mostly they have good looking homes in a variety of nice developments. www.vikingcustomhomes.com

I Have a friend that just recently purchased a home from Castle Rock Builders. I inspected (Engineering background) their home while it was under construction and the Builder did a great job. I want to say my friend's cost per square foot was somewhere in the $120's with very good includes. Best of Luck!
