I have been on section 8 voucher and I lost my job but I was on unemployment for 5 months, but it has ran out and no extinction is yet passed, and no job has come through, my question is "If I am living on my savings only will I lose my HUD"? being I have no income at this time.

Is it the kind of voucher where you pay 1/3 of your income?

I think you need to clarify. You were on section 8 while you were working? That would mean you had a very low paying job, right? Then you got laid off and collected unemployment and kept the section 8?

no extinction is yet passed
What does this mean?

You haven't been able to find another job. I am guessing that you should go to wherever you obtained your section 8 voucher and have them do a readjustment based upon having no income. My guess is that they would pay more towards your rent since you have less money. Just be honest with them and tell them what happened.
