The area is trying to be up and coming good house prices but far from anything.i think the crime rate is on point out there Drugs are a problem.

Denton is a nice small town. Not much to do but the cops love getting tourists that come through town during the summer. They need to ticket out of towners to get money for the town. I have good friends that moved from Howard County to Denton about 8 years ago. They have two children, in high school now, but absolutely love it. They were tired of the culture in this part of Maryland and do not regret moving at all. She is a school teacher and he works for a telecom company. They have never had any sort of problem regarding crime or drugs. They moved to a nice, family neighborhood and have been extremely happy.
