Anthony Brown is so mediocre, so vanilla, so exceptionally unexceptional that even Black Enterprise couldn't make him sound good. They tried, of course, but when you're done with the article, there's literally nothing that anyone can point to that makes Anthony Brown appealing.

Oh, and by the way, what "history" would Brown make? The first black Governor of MD? Whooppee Do! So what? Barack Obama forever neutralized the importance of that concept!

Anthony Brown races towards history

It's nice to know you enjoy Rush and Fox. Let me know where I've said wealth to be evil. I'm waiting.

Seems to me you're doing the deflecting. Doing a great job there too. I guess it's the fault of the GOP/Tea Party creating this gap even as liberals/progressive democrats run Maryland and Montgomery County?

I hope the Democrats do not win this one! What is the deal? Do Marylanders really want MORE taxes, MORE crime, and MORE dishonesty???? I just do not get it. Is the culprit here those who vote for the wrong reasons, for their own personal gain, or to insure they continue to get freebies at our expense. What about voting for the good of the state? And here's a novel idea! Let's vote for the good of our country!!!!!

Maryland liberals are among the most bland, most aloof, and most apathetic of any monolith of liberals in this country. Just take a close look at them next time you're in Montgomery County. They're about as exceptionally unexceptional as a group of mindless drones can get. They really don't care who is in office as long as that person represents the same insipid, dispassionate ideology as they do. It's mind-boggling to witness.

Anthony Brown races towards history
Doug Wilder did it in Virginia two decades ago.

Anthony Brown will win. Too many people will only pull the slot next to the D candidate. Receiving the endorsement of the great and mighty Washington Post didn't help Bob Ehrlich.

Brown will do what is told by the General Assembly in Annapolis, particularly Miller and Busch. He will not go against the grain.

It will be an unremarkable governorship and the state will be perfectly fine. Few people will have any sense of who Brown is and even fewer will be aware that there is even a governor.

Maryland will continue to be an expensive place to live with many higher pay government related jobs.

What else is new?

I'll be voting against one party rule as usual. However it won't matter in hopeless Maryland. It is too bad, even mindless Democrat drones would benefit from divided government. Oh well, nobody with a brain ever thought the MD Democrat base was smart. It isn't.

Yup, unfortunately this is just exactly what will happen. Status quo will be maintained, government and government jobs will continue to grow, the rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer (tho' a few unimportant bones will be thrown their way, just to make the Democrats look like the party of the people, the ones who really care about the disenfranchised), and the middle class will continue to shrink.
So tell me again why, as an independent voter, I should hate the Republicans?
