for a haircut.

I'm the type of guy who just gets the sides buzzed and a light trim on top. Takes about 10-12 minutes.
The couple who normally cuts my hair is retiring and moving to South Carolina. They charge $7 for a men's cut, and I give them a $10 for tip (which is a 41% tip, so not bad). They seem to always have customers and are very friendly.

Anyway, in light of them retiring and moving I'm wondering where else to go. The chain stores all charge around $16 or $17!!! That's around a dollar every forty seconds of me in the chair, unreal.

Looking somewhere in the Pasadena or Glen Burnie area, but around the vicinity is fine. Kinda looking for a small mom-&-pop deal where I can get to know the folks and where they won't ask for my phone number and address or trying to get me to have some kind of frequent customer card every time you go in the store (just want a haircut ya know).

I personally go to Dell's barber shop over on Furnace Branch Rd. in Glen Burnie. Dell, the owner, retired a few years ago and now it's run by Will, with a few other barbers that work part time.

From what you're looking for, I would definitely recommend the place. It's a locally owned business, not a chain. They've never asked me for my phone number or address. He is a very approachable person, and will get to know you after you stop in a few times. He charges either $8 or $9 for a haircut, I can't remember which, but definitely a lot cheaper than $17!
