Ok, lets start this topic. Since I'm always the negative person or so people state, I would like to see how many others are fed up w/ the way Maryland has come and why they left. No positive here, just the negative as the other post only wanted positive posts.

I hate Maryland because--

Over priced for what it is
Bad Traffic
Stupid Governor
Snobby people

hmmm...I can keep going but I will keep it at this until others respond. The best thing. NO sugar coating. If you have articles that would be wonderful too.

(Moved from Mont Co)

Traffic
Snobby people
Competition (who's kid is better then who's?)
Cost of living
Rude people
Terrible schools.. (and I'm not kidding.. They are good on paper and do whatever it takes to keep it that way... even pass those who shouldn't be passed).. Whatever it takes to get that funding, huh?

It's not what it used to be... Maybe its nice in other places in MD.. but not Mont. Co.

SC... and it's MUCH better...

And if you are going to ask me why I still come to this forum.. It's because I like to keep up with some of the people I talked with on this forum before I moved.

Cost of living
Change of scenery

Those are my 2 main reasons for leaving. I'm in Arizona now. For what I sold my townhouse in Bel Air for, I was able to buy a single family home with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 car garage and an inground pool on slightly less than a quarter of an acre. So, yeah, so far it's better.

I have to agree w/ all of you. Overpriced for what it is. But for some reason I'm negative when I say things like this.
