Where are Baltimore's fashion designers? Do you know of any who live and reside in the city?

Yes you guys need to get out more, the arts scene is under the radar here and unless you're in the business most of your average joe would know nothing about fashion let alone fashion in Baltimore. But I'm in the exclusive creative scene here in the city #Imamalemodel kind of the odd ball here because I'm nothing short of GQ status. It kills me when I get the shocking remark "you cannot be from Baltimore?" when I go to a DC, Philly, NYC club, bar, or any casual setting. When I hear people in the city or DC say Baltimore people (mostly African Americans in the city) have no style or are not pretty/handsome is just an accurate assumption that is not true for all residents especially in my circle. They think we all come out of the house in pajamas a white tee and jeans which is not true. So yes I know a few black, white, and Latino fashion designers in the city including this young lady that attend my church in west Baltimore here's her line.

Mostly through social networking befriending other models, designers, photographers etc on fb, IG, twitter, word of mouth, or being either one of those 3 things helps. Basically you have to know people in order for them to invite you to shows, events, etc. I went to school at MICA and that opened the arts scene in itself to me. From there I met other students in the arts and regular everyday people at the other universities throughout the area or out of state and its really no specific place to find the fashion scene in Bmore because its spread out depending on where people have their studios.

To me Balto was hipster before there were hipsters, and fashion design = creative use of vintage.
