Why bother, it's, what, 10 miles long?

People around here act like its Hogan's biggest accomplishment, along with getting rid of the stormwater fee mandate. It's a surprisingly big deal lol.

I'd like to see parts of route 50 be 65mph instead of 55. Some of the less populated stretches in Queene Anne's, Talbot, Dorchester, Wicomico, and Worcester counties.

Hogan had nothing to do with the Salisbury bypass, that started during Shafer's "Reach The Beach" initiative which Glendenning continued.

The reality is that traffic speeds on those stretches are 65+ most of the time. Make the limit 65 and those speeds will creep up to 80+, which wouldn't be good with the amount of side roads (most without stoplights) and crossovers.

I'm referring to the speed limit increase. Not the road itself.
