I've traveled on that road for nearly a decade now, and speculate that horrid stretch of road on the north side of Fort Meade is purposely kept in a state of disrepair in order to repel anyone who doesn't belong there.

I can't imagine any other reason a road would have treacherous potholes & neverending construction that amounts to nothing unless it's an intentional deterrent for unwelcome gate-hoppers. The road is fairly fine as you approach Ft Meade from either side, but directly outside the gate it's all potholes & jersey barriers for a mile or two.

That road is disgusting and I can never get away from it fast enough.

What do you think? Is the road kept horribly on purpose, or do you think they're ever going to improve the road?

Not sure the reason but it's a noticable problem.
