Myrtle Beach was actually as brown water as any MD and DE beaches.

Maybe he was talking about the activities/amenities that can be found in the area rather than the actual beach.

I could not get over how HUGE Myrtle Beach is. On my first golf trip we looked at a map and figured 15 minutes from the hotel to the course, it was 45.
