This is total garbage. It doesn't matter where you even fall on the issue of immigration; this is outrageous. I expect someone who commits a misdemeanor to be charged by the state, not be given a benefit of the doubt based on someone's political hobby horse.

So, Mr. Schatzow, you don't want to do your job? If you are philosophically or politically opposed to doing what the taxpayers are paying you to do, you should do the honorable thing AND RESIGN. Not continue to take a paycheck. Go work in your own firm, Schatzow.
