I have a relative who is considering moving to the Maryland area (from Florida) and is interested in transferring at her current job. She's an "assistant director" at a YMCA or Boys & Girls Club (or something like that) and she's wondering what a similar position would pay in Maryland.

Even though I am sure the pay would no doubt be better here, I have cautioned her that the cost of living here is a good bit higher than where she lives. I am hoping that by finding out what she would possibly make, I can help her decide whether or not moving here would be wise.

Also... if anyone knows a good site where you can look up area pay scales online, that would be helpful. Google is doing nothing for me on this front.
