Hi,

I am looking to buy a house in Hebron, MD (near Salisbury), here is a link to the street it is on.

Could anyone who is familiar with the area take a look and tell me your thoughts on that location. Is it a safe area, is there anything to watch out for nearby like chicken farms or a landfill.

Thanks.

I am not familiar with the area, but based on the map, I think I see the county landfill about a mile or two to your east, and the long houses of a chicken farm to your south east off Rockwalkin Rd.

I have clue whether that is close enough to influence your property, or not.

Chicken operations are ubiquitous on the Lower Shore. It will be difficult to avoid them. I seem to remember you asking questions about the areas several months ago. Yes, you did.

As I said at that time you really need to go there and see how rural the area is. If you have never lived in a farming area you don't seem to really know how you will be living.
