A lot actually. Price point and relative ease of access to points south probably make it appear attractive on paper. I have friends born and raised down there, tried to make a life of it. After having someone open the door to his house and start throwing rocks at his wife and kids, and after he and his 4 yo daughter saw a teen bleed out across the street from his house were they cut bait and left. Oh, and prostitution is big on those side streets down there too.

I’m on Route 3 and many of the neighborhoods here have renting options if one does not wish to settle right away. It’s about 20 minutes from Fort Meade.
