I, for one, will forgot voting in person in the primary on April 28th. Especially if my polling place is an a local school. I am old enough that I fall into the demographic of someone who is susceptible to the virus.

Even if the polling place is not in a school, I am still concerned. Maybe the primary should be moved back as close as possible to the summer.

Why not just vote absentee?

There have been discussions to change the balloting to mail-in. I don't know where that is right now. The decision to do so will have to be made fairly soon in order to get the process in place.

As for some other stuff: Oh FFS.

I was told that discussions are ongoing and a decision will be made in the next few days. Another problem is that the most reliable source for election judges are senior citizens and many are concerned since they are the high risk group. I have been an election judge since the 2006 election and am debating whether I should do so in the upcoming primary.
