Hello All,

My office is located in Fulton, MD - how bad is the rush hour traffic (before COVID) from Eldersburg/Sykesville/Mt. Airy to Fulton.

My family is moving to the area and during out touring of houses it was hard to judge commuting times because of the quasi-shutdown; so any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I am just off the I70/Rt94 exit and in pre COVID rush hour it took me about 30-35 minutes to get to the Rt 32/Rt29 junction. Though the construction on 32 is never ending, I don’t find that it slows traffic very much.

Good luck in your house search.

There was a report today on Channel 4. Apparently, according to that, Maryland traffic is now at about 85-90% of what it was prior to the pandemic.

Now, I was only half listening so I might have misunderstood. From my viewpoint here in Southern Maryland traffic to outside the County dropped but inside the County did not. In fact it got worse.
