Currently living downtown. Not paying a bad price.
But getting tired of paying for parking and the bums everywhere begging for change almost everyday.

Also none of my family will visit. they refuse to come to baltimore.

So i'm looking at this place in oxon hill in the main part of oxon hill near the safeway and stuff.
i don't have any kids. young white professional working out of dc.

i used to take the marc from baltimore to work or drive.

guys. i have been a long long time reader of this forum and i finally decided to sign up today. I NEED ADVICE.

What's your opinion on this?

choosing oxon hill because the place i'm looking at is a apt with ALL UTILITIES and right on the metro line. Also it's close to VA and DC.
I'm a whole foods harris tetter type of person.

How safe is that part of Oxon Hill? Oxon Hill has not had a good reputation regarding crime in the past 30 years.

I think the same reasons family will not go to Baltimore will be present in Oxon Hill. Better to look elsewhere.

Hyattsville is generally nicer and has a real downtown.

Oxon Hill has National Harbor but it's pretty cut off from it.
