Potential job relocation on the Eastern Shore near Easton. Late twenties professional trying to get more updated information about the area. A search of this subforum brought up some thoughts and advice about Easton, but was from 2014, so maybe things have changed a bit?

Are there social opportunities for this age group? Not into partying or bar scene, but would like to have the potential to make friends through outdoor activities, book clubs, yoga- fitness classes, etc. Also, what is the apartment situation like? A quick search online shows a lack of openings in the few complexes there. Not sure if this is an ongoing issue. Thanks in advance for your help in sharing any current information about the social/ living environment for single, young professionals.

There are some places that are GREAT for singles and others that are GREAT for young couples.
Which are you?

Was hoping to find out more about the social scene for those in their 20s , 30s. It doesn’t have to be specifically for singles or specifically for couples. I’ve read Easton is an area filled with retirees and would like to have the potential for finding activities that have a younger crowd to make new acquaintances and potentially make new friends in the area.
