Except for 420, 410 and 411. And my mistake, looking at the latest map it seems like they've extended it out to Aberdeen and Bel Air. What a shame.

Public transit only works in cities where the public is civilized. Portland, Seattle, Austin, San Fran. New York's is alright I guess, but the police keep "the trouble" from getting out too out of hand....most of the time.

Way to look at a map. These are commuter buses. They bring workers from Harford County to Baltimore and then back in the evening. They operate "one way" only. So if your assertion is that thugs in Baltimore City are riding these commuter buses with a bunch of office workers, doing crime in Bel Air overnight, and returning on the same commuter bus in the morning holding their stolen televisions, then it just shows your ignorance.

Edgewood in Harford co. is the last stop on the bus line and has tons of cheap housing, both rentals and to buy. Most honest people are fleeing the crime and drugs there. If you're a criminal or a welfare scumbag that area would be a dream come true. I still recommend almost any precinct in Baltimore City rather than anywhere in the counties. There's plenty of other criminals and stoop-dwellers there to hang out with.

Why would someone who loves gubmint and handouts want to leave their liberal paradise anyway? Trash, crime, empty-shell rowhouses, it's liberal Utopia right?!?!?! As far as North East or Rising Sun goes, I'm not sure how many shops in Cecil county take EBT cards or would even know what to do with them. Maybe there's better options for your "family" elsewhere in MD.

Social commentary: Most people move or desire to live some place because of a job, but I guess when the government gives you free money all day every day, you can up and move wherever without any concern to the community already in place.

Who was this post even in response to? No one in this 5 year old thread said anything about getting government handouts...

When buses come to the area crime -blacks- trash in the streets increase look how Harford county(Edgewood) has changed if you want to devalue an area like rising sun -put in public transportation another example owingsmill mall nobody shops there the mall is loosing money since the train from Baltimore city goes their - robbery has increased so many homeowners travel outside the area for safety reasons
