What would you estimate is the average cost of full-time (45 hours) daycare center (infant) in Columbia?

It's all going to depend on the child's age, what hours you consider "full-time", ect. Are you asking for childcare center's or personal in-home childcare?

For an infant, 45 hours/week, childcare center.

I'd estimate $200.00 a week on average.

$200 may be a bit low for a child-care center for a week. It can go up as high as $275 per WEEK!!! We couldn't believe the prices when we were looking around. The prices really come down after the age of 2, and are also less at private in-home providers.

It can go higher than that, actually. At my son's daycare center, 2 years ago we were paying $227 a week for him- and he was 4/5. I believe the infants were around $300.

It all depends on the type of center, potty status of the child (children that are not potty trained are going to cost more) as well as location, ect.

That's why i'm a stay at home mom and let my husband work. We simply cannot afford for me to go to work with two kids that would need childcare.
