Well, we finally decided to settle on Severna Park. only we want to rent at first or rent with option to buy. We did not realize that rental homes are hard to find in SP. Does anyone on this post know of any affordable rental homes in SP (3beds 2baths).

Depends what you mean by affordable. I've been looking at rentals in the area and the cheapest in Severna Park for 3 bed, 2 bad is $1750. And there was only that one, then they jump into the $2000 plus. I've been told that it is mostly SFHs there. Townhouses in other areas tend to be a little more reasonable.

You may want to try homesdatabase.com as there are currently 5 or 6 listings but as prev. poster stated the lowest is $1750. There are 3 under 2k a month and the highest is almost 3K. There are a lot more rentals in Arnold. Part of Arnold is in the Severna Park High School district and the other is Broadneck High School. They are both excellent and all schools in both areas are considered to be among the best countywide. Good luck in your search.
