I am closing on a new house in Bulle Rock on Sep 28th. Where can I go for good quality furniture and window treatments? Right now I am considering Raymour & Flanigan (nearest is Delaware) or Ryan Furniture in HdG.

I need anitique furniture for living room, bedrooms, mattresses, leather sofa in family room, sleeper sofas, blinds, curtains/drapes, area rugs (over the hardwood floors).

Thanks

First I would stop to meet Billie Smith at Distinctive Decor. Her shop is located at 322 St. John St in downtown Havre de Grace. She is wonderful to work with and probably will be able to refer you to everthing you need. I am sure she will be open for FIRST FRIDAY this week with extended hours. Best of Luck and enjoy Havre de Grace it is a wonderful place to live.

If you do not mind me asking. What made you choose Bulle Rock. My husband and I have been looking at HDG and Bel Air. We love Bulle Rock, home prices were great but the taxes and HOA were high.

Thanks

I chose Bulle Rock for several reasons (BTW, I am from NJ too).
1. Less traffic than Bel Air
2. Closer to APG than North East
3. Not far from the water or quaint town of HdG
4. All master bedrooms on the 1st floor
5. Clubhouse has indoor/outdoor pools, and full gym
6. No more lawn cutting or snow shoveling
7. The view when driving into the development
8. The golf course
9. The many activities organized by the association
Yes the dues are expensive, but back in NJ, I paid separately for lawn fertilizing, lawn cutting, gym fees, snowblower maintenance, and garbage pickup
