I am originally from NYC, 5 years ago I moved to Orlando Florida, because of the economy I am relocating (again) to Abingdon,Maryland. I will be staying with family until I am able to get on my feet. Other than weekend visits, I have never really explored Maryland, nor do I know much about it. First matter of business is to find a job. I am a Human Resources/Administrative Assistant with a double BS in Business Management and Marketing. Can anyone offer me tips about the 'job hunting' culture there? Where is the best place to start looking? (i.e. job search engines, headhunters). Additionally, what counties will be best for me to conduct my search? What forms of transportation (other than a car) is used in Maryland? Can anyone give he information on housing? Something affordable, two bedrooms, and in a decent area.
