Maybe because the new Martinsburg Target will draw more business... BTW: Martinsburg Target is hands down the nicest Target I've ever been to.

I haven't heard officially about the closing date iof it happens at all but my guess is most of the people supposedly shopping are in there for something else if you know what i mean.

This Target has made so many poor decisions it ain't funny.In speaking with some of the employees they have already put in applications elsewhere because its pretty obvious the store will not last too much longer and i would be shocked if they see Summer

Another sign of desperation is target opening at 5am on black friday when for over 10 years it was always 6am.things are really looking dismal.too bad!

Don't read too much in to that opening time. There are retail stores here in SoMD advertising being open Thanksgiving Day and 4 or 5 AM Friday.

I think OP has a bone to pick with that store. The postings have been continual doom & gloom, yet there is no indication of the store closing.

An example of how misinformed this post is... All Targets opened at 5AM today.
