I' ve been cut off from EUC. I take care of my father who is 80 yrs. old. It's also sad that it happened before the holidays. I'm use to working and it kills me to not have a job. I've been working since the age of 16, so I am not a slacker. There are no jobs out there, if so the are not enough. I'm just asking for a little more help.

Default 13 weeks of Unemployment Benefits

I have been out of work for 2yrs.effective 8/28/2011. My benefits were cut off on July 22,2011. I have no source of income. I am 65 years old; if I start drawing my Social Security,my monthly benefits will be reduced. I can't afford to take a cut in pay. If the 13 weeks of unemployment benefits were put into effect this would help me to meet my monthly household bills. I have been without medical insurance since last August,
I am now signed up for medicare, but I must pay for this out of my pocket. This is $115.00 per month. I have worked all of my life. My job
was phased out because of the recession. I didn't ask to be let go. If I could ,I would still be working.
We need these additional benefits.
Thank you.
