I just moved to Columbia and love Sushi. Cooked Sushi that is. Does anyone know where I can find a really nice Sushi restaurant. I usally go to Wholefoods but the nearest one is in Baltimore.

I vote for Sushi King, next to the MVA off of Dobbin Road. It's the original sushi place in Columbia, small and usually crowded, but very very good. They have cooked and uncooked.

Sushi King

Sushi Sono at the Lakefront in Columbia is very good.

Ginza off of Johns Hopkins Road in Laurel/Fulton is also very good - this may be a better bet for you if you are looking for all cooked.

Isn't Cooked Sushi self-contratictory?

I second Sushi King. The quality is comparable to that of top sushi bars in NYC.

I went to sushi sono yesterday since that is closer to me and it was very good. Very friendly people and the waitress even made me my own sushi when the menu didn't have it. I would defiantely go back there again. The rolls were a little small than what I am used to though. My next stop is sushi king. Thanks everyone.
