In New Jersey the areas close to the water are getting flooded . Are there any such problems when there is nor'eastern or heavy rains in the Severna Park, Arnold or Cape St. Clair areas?
TIA

I have lived in Arnold since 1985 and have never been flooded. 5 homes across the street are actually waterfront and I have a friend in waterfront in Cape St. Claire so I will ask them. We do however lose power often during storms usually only for a few hours. During Isabella and and one other time during multiple snowstorms, we lost power for a couple of days. An emergency generator is great to have.

Thanks . We were thinking of moving to the area in a few years . I am not worried about the powere outages because we often lose powere where we live now. I was mostly worried about flooding.
Thanks again

We had a 4 foot high tide last night. Luckily for us we are up on a cliff. The water was level to, or maybe 6" over the main pier. It was hard to tell with the wind action.

During Isabel we had a 12' surge. It was erie to look out across the river and only see water, no piers, just water and shoreline.
