I really hope that the police around here really step up their enforcement of the remove snow from roof of vehicles law. It's absolutely ridiculous to see 12+ inches of snow on top of some of the SUVs on the road the last few days. Driving behind these people on the interstate is terrifying as chunks of snow and ice packs fly off. Crazy!

One of my pet peeves also! It's not so hard to get a long handled broom and brush it off.

I agree with you. I know it is the last thing you want to do, but when you leave the snow on your car like that you are creating a hazard.

good to know I'm not the only person who is really irritated by this laziness. Now if that SUV is driving too fast in the snow and makes a turn/changes lanes without signaling with the large mound of snow on the roof and you have reach the epitome of irritation!

It is incredibly hazardous. At least you know by sight that those drivers are lazy dummies who don't pay attention that you should probably avoid on the road if you can.

OMGosh, these idiots!! My brother was telling me, it's hard to get the snow off those high SUV's. I said screw that!! I bet, if that person was going out of town -- his/her luggage would sit up there. How about the idiots only scraping the snow from the windows and mirrors. Yeah, that's a good look, stoopid!

To the idiot SUV drivers who claim they "can't reach" the snow caked atop their vehicles, ever hear of a STEPSTOOL or a LONG-HANDLED BROOM?! I'm just waiting for a huge chunk of ice to come flying off of an SUV in front of me, crack my windshield, and cause a pile-up. Talk about the epitome of laziness and stupidity.

Ooooorrrrrrrr... how about you don't drive close to them? Yes, not clearing snow from the top of a car can be very hazardous. However, so is driving while intoxicated. If I see anyone swerving on the road, I immediately back off the person. If I have the option, I ensure that he's in front of me so that I can keep an eye on him. If someone has snow on his/her car, just slow down a bit and let the person get further ahead of you.

Yes. It's dangerous, lazy, inconsiderate, and stupid that people don't clear the snow off of their cars. However, there's always something you can do too.

If you don't have a way to clean the roof of the car, you should not be buying that car.

If you want to drive your car right now with snow on top the roof... have at it. Just hope you aren't planning on some emergency worker to come save your idiot butt. Stay home til Saturday. Take a nap why don't ya.
