Anyone do this daily? How horrible is the bridge traffic? Is it worth it?

Bridge traffic is decent most of the time. It can slow at rush hour. If there is a big weekend at OC the backups heading eastbound can be rough. Accidents can cause real traffic mayhem. Is it worth it? Only you can decide that.

What exactly would be the commute? Distance? Time of Day? Driving all the way in? Driving then the train?

Are you truly talking about coming from the ES every day to work? As in EAST of Annapolis.

In morning rush hour Bowie to DC alone is an hour.
I reverse commute Bowie to DC in the afternoon and it can take me 30 mins one day -- 40 the next.

Annapolis alone -- depending where in Annap. would add a half hour or so. And you're talking about farther than that.

If you don't mind two hours in AM rush hour - and another 2 in the afternoon - go for it.

Bay Bridge is summer time...forgeddaboutit.

P.S. I'm amazed at how far people will commute everyday or should I say how much TIME people are willing to lose to their commute.
Remember that in this area it can take an hour to go 20 miles. THAT is the problem.

That's one of the many reasons we moved to eastern NC. Now 20 miles means 30 minutes.
