Hello all~

I'm sure it's all over this thread, but I need help finding a place to live for the summer with a buddy of mine.
Just to get a feel of we are.. We're both graduating from Indiana University, so we're younger and looking for a lively community. It'd be nice to have bars near by, walking distance, and even nicer if it were close to a college campus. We're working with a company that requires us to travel a bit, so a lil close to the 95 might be nice, or a highway. Just want to get a nice area to live in so we could search apartments there.

-Help is greatly appreciated!

-Thanks

Pamnama City, Florida or Cancun, Mexico and bring some money.

MTV was at Alcapulco during March so you missed that fun....

If you are considering a cruise the 14 day cruises can cost less than the price of a hotel and you see lots more and you eat well.....Florida has cruises that cater to students because they are usually just 3 days in length.

In Maryland, on the 95 corridor? Hmmm, I don't know if you can find an area with all your criteria. How close to a campus? You could try the College Park area but you would need to be within a mile of campus to get to bars within walking distance. The only bars are basically within the campus. Honestly, it is a just a college party area.

Baltimore is another option, but I'm not real familiar with the college areas -- possibly Towson?

The trendiest bar and restaurant areas close to I-95 would be Canton and Fells Point on the east side of town and Federal Hill on the southside. Both are expensive places to live and parking can be a nightmare. Neither are close to a college campus.

Default Fells point/Fed Hill/ Canton.. or even OC

I'd say Fells Point/Federal Hill/ Canton (all in the Baltimore area) would be a good choice. Very close to 95 though it (as all of MD) can be pricey, you can certainly also find something you should be able to afford. I would also suggest a summer in Ocean City.. lots of fun down there, however not very travel friendly.
