Hi all...I need a little advice. I'm a mother of 4 seeking to relocate to MD by the end of this year or by June of 2011. I've been reading alot of information on this board about the cost of living..the quality of living. My question is "Should I make the move? Is it worth? Or should I find another state to live in? " I'm basically looking for a change for my family and I. I've grown tired of living in NY. I feel it's not the best place to raise my children. I must say before I make the decision to pack up and leave I must find a job first. I've been submitting numerous applications. Just waiting for a call back. Please feel free to comment I would really appreciate it.

Just want to add I do plan on renting and I've been looking into Essex, White Marsh and Towson area of MD.

Depending on what type of job you are looking for, this may point to a specific region of maryland. Close to DC and Baltimore are expensive, but there are lots of rural areas that are a bargin. The key will be the job.
