I'm just curious how many people in there.

one of my friends lives in Malden.

I don't know where it's located. but, I think it might be the biggest APT in

Boston. I've never seen any APTs like that before.

Can you share your infomation?

Thanks. Bye.

umm, I'm not sure I understand the question. are you talking about one apt building or a complex? the Granada highlands complex is in Malden and is HUGE! they have a pond, swimming pool, small movie theatre, I even heard they have their own convenience store inside the community! of course it's one of those luxury high-rises, so rent is ridiculous ($1000+ for a studio maybe). i had a friend who lived there and liked it, but ended up moving out because he didn't use most of the amenities there (he got a cheaper 2 bedroom closer to Malden Center/T stop)

Each town has large apartments...but Medford is probably the better of the three towns. Slummerville I'd avoid!

"Slummerville"? so you'd avoid living in the Porter Sq. area? or in the Davis Sq. area? or the Union Sq. area? these areas are all fine and very desirable! lots of the squares in Somerville are fine and safe (Ball, Teele, etc). the "Slummerville" moniker mostly came about back when the Winter Hill gang were still around. Winter Hill isn't the best Somerville neighborhood, but it's shaping up. Somerville is large and has its good and bad parts (similar to Dorchester, yet people always seem to say to avoid Dorchester, despite the very nice/desirable areas it contains)

I haven't heard anyone currently living in Boston call Somerville "Slummerville" in a long while. the Porter, Davis, and Union Squares are filled w/ great nightlife, restaurants, and mid range apts (it'd be hard to find a 2 bedroom apt in Porter Sq for $1200 or less). most of Somerville is safe and quite nice

Those particular areas aren't impressive to me....but to each its own I suppose..
