is this accessible from shrewsbury? is it easier/better to take the rail into boston than driving???

I almost always prefer to take the train because the traffic is so unpredictable. There's a train station in Westboro not far from the Shrewsbury town line but not one in Shrewbury itself.
MBTA > Schedules & Maps > Commuter Rail > Westborough

From shrewsbury the north Grafton station would probably be the closest in most instances, of course depending on what side of town you are in.

Its def easier to take the train in, if the schedule matches up. Options are limited outside of commuting hours.

Worcester, Grafton and Westborough are all convenient to Shrewsbury depending where you live in Shrewsbury. Good part is that most likely one of the three is close no matter where you live in Shrewsbury.
