I'm in Stoughton. I have a 58" Plasma TV that I need to get rid of - screen is cracked!
I've searched for my town's policies on trash and what they'll pick up, etc, but I have no idea how to throw this TV away! I don't know whether I can put it on the curb (or what day!) or call the city, or have to pay, or what.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it!
Put it on the curb with a sign that says "Trash" The trashmen most likely won't take it. But you better beleive it will be gone 10min later, Either way, not your problem anymore.
Check your town's public works department. The first Saturday of the month is when my town takes TVs and appliances at their yard. There's a fee, of course, depending on what it is you're tossing.

Agreed. My town has an electronics "recycling" day 4x a year. Fee's vary depending on what it is you are getting rid of.
