Moving from Los Angeles to Boston (truck rental, apartment, rental)

Hello,

I am originally from Boston. I moved to Los Angeles five years ago and am now planning to relocate back to Boston this year. I live in a small, one-bedroom apartment and am OK parting with some of my smaller furniture (dresser and nightstand). All in all I will have boxes, some larger furniture (kitchen nook, couch, futon, bed, etc.) and my car to get back over to the East coast on the cheapest budget possible. I am open to driving across the country if need be. Do you have any moving companies, truck rental companies, etc. that you could recommend who are reasonably priced and that you've had good experiences with?

One to avoid: Father n son. Someone I know used them moving to NJ and had a terrible experience. Over the years I've found it depends more on the actual crew you get...some are good, some so-so, and some downright bad. The "after move" experience is more dependent on the company (that was the problem with Father n son. They broke a bunch of her stuff and basically blew her off.
