I would live in Manchester by the Sea because it is such a beautiful town with great schools. I'd have an oceanfront mansion. Without a very long commute to wherever my fabulous job would be that would allow me to afford an oceanfront mansion in Manchester.

If I had a job in the city, I think I'd live in Brookline because it is a great mixture of urban, but not too urban (you can live on a quiet street) and it also has great schools.

This is a great question...There are so many beautiful and vastly different parts of our state that offer their own beauty that I really don't know...

I love Boston, and always dreamed of living along the Charles, in one of those brick apartments with big windows facing it...but then love the view from the MIT side of the Charles...

Love the Cape and the many beautiful little parts of it...Some are euphoric...

Love the mountains, Berkshires, Northhampton, North Adams...

Love the country roads in Concord, Dartmouth, Deerfield...

I really can't say...What I can say is that I REALLY LOVE where we live now...

I second that.

Marlborough Street in the Back Bay section of Boston. A quiet and beautiful street but within walking distance of so many great restaurants and stores but also the Charles River and the Esplanade.

if I could afford to live anywhere in MA and if I could afford to send my kid to a private school, I would live in a very big apartment with patio or a townhouse in Beacon Hill or Back Bay. I do not think that living outside Boston is any different than living in the suburbs of any US city. Unfortunately, I cannot afford Boston + private school...

Grew up in Newton, and would live there again if I had small kids or worked in Boston. Currently live in Northampton, which is just fine. BUT -- my heart is in Truro, and if cost, job, family and friend ties weren't factors, THAT'S where I'd be.
