Hi everyone,
I've been commuting from my home in Belmont to my workplace in Dedham for a month or so now, and I've just about had it with I-95. I usually work either 8am-4:30pm or 10am-6pm on weekdays and/or weekends. Currently I either take Trapelo Rd to 95, or if traffic seems light I'll drive north to get on Rte 2 and connect to 95 from there. However, both of these involving driving somewhat out of the way and I can't help but feel like I'm taking a silly route... any suggestions for a better commute? Thanks so much for any help!

Sadly, no. I think 128 is the only way to go, and frankly, skipping Trapelo Road makes sense. It shouldn't be a bad drive if you go in at 10a- maybe tweak your work hours a bit more?

That's what I figured. I've tried avoiding large highways altogether, but then I just end up in the Newton/Watertown/Waltham bottleneck which I find much more frustrating. Going in at 10am works on occasion, but as we approach our busiest time of year it's not really a daily option. Oh well, thanks for weighing in!
