Hi all,
From the hanover/norwell area, what are the best commuting options? I've heard driving over to abington for the mbta is the closest..that seems far though. The greenbush line seems a little bit closer, but who knows how reliable that line will be long term. I've heard there is a bus near exit 14..has anyone had experience with that? Thanks a bunch

Abington is not all that far from Hanover. At the intersection of Union and West Water St., (I'm talking Rockland here) go through the lights (Dunkin Donuts on left hand side) and that will take you to a set of lights which is Rt. 58. Depending on where the train or bus station is (never had to know where they were) take a left or right. I would venture a guess that a left would be needed. That takes you up to the intesection of 123 and 58. (Diary Queen)

Or take Wesbster St. at the intersection of 53 and 123 (Queen Anne's Corner) and go straight until you either take a left at the first set of lights and follow it up to Union St. (Dunkie's on left) or go straight until you hit Union St. Take a left and go to the lights and take a right. That goes to 58. You mentioned Norwell so that may be the best way to go.

Hope this helps.
