We each had a lobster roll and shared the chicken/tomato/cheese/pesto panini (which I jokingly called "the butter sandwich" -- and was rich and DELICIOUS!!).

I truly wish that was my neighborhood restaurant... I'd go all the time.
Glad you enjoyed it and hope you enjoyed the area! What a gorgeous day to be out by the canal. It's a pretty neat spot.

I read your answer to MikePru about the lobster roll having a bit too much mayo. What I liked last year is there was minimal mayo. I'm hoping yesterday was a fluke. Yes the buttery roll is tough to beat. They could throw seaweed on it and it would be delicious.

I actually remembered you saying that it had a minimal amount of mayo, so I was surprised. (I'm a huge mayo fan, so I was OK with it; my husband was less happy, but still managed to eat the whole thing so... )

You live in Sandwich, right? It's an absolutely charming town.

Then we moseyed on over to Plymouth, which was also lovely. Definitely an A+ day.
