I may be taking a job on the outer cape (Provincetown) in the near future and my dream is to live in a waterfront house in Wellfleet or some other outer cape town. Do year round waterfront single family rentals exist in this area, and if so, do you have any contact info or any idea how much a waterfront house would go for in monthly rent? So many properties are just seasonal and the rents are very high for these properties. I'm just curious if there are any owners who would rent their waterfront property year round if someone signed a 1 year lease. I'm looking from Chatham all the way down to p-town.

You would probably have good luck getting one for cheap in the winter. The summer? Not so much.

sure there are...but maybe not as common as winter rentals. there are lots of folks who own second homes but no longer visit the cape for whatever reasons. of course, year round rental will cost much more.
