Hi I was wondering if anyone drives or takes the red line/commuter rail from Braintree, Milton, or Hingham and could provide their best route to Back Bay (Old Hancock Tower, specifically).
There just doesn't seem to be a great way of getting from these towns to Back Bay but I'm wondering if I'm overlooking some Dorchester wormhole or secret helicopter commute that is only known to the insiders...
Driving into Boston from these towns is a NIGHTMARE. I would take the commuter rail. You can find travel times on MBTA.com. If you're not married to these towns you might want to take a look at the Metrowest area. Much easier commute into Boston on the MA Pike. I would avoid drivng on I93 at all costs. Even on the weekends it's pretty congested.
