Hi everyone,

I'm currently browsing for homes in Massachusetts. I work in Providence, RI right now and my girlfriend works in Waltham, MA. We'd like to be somewhere that's considered a "middleground" so that neither of our commutes are too crazy.

Currently, I'm looking in the following areas:

-Foxboro
-Mansfield
-Norton
-Plainville
-North Attleboro

Easy access to 95 or Route 1 is important for her; easy access to 95 is important for me. I've found many homes in North Attleboro that are of interest, but I'm slightly concerned that my girlfriend's commute will be too long.

If anyone has any other suggestions I'd love to explore them!

Thanks,

WB

What kind of housing are you looking for? A condo? A single family? Do you want to rent or buy? What's your budget? What kind of lifestyle do you lead? Shut in? Party animal?

Route 1? Not sure why that would be important. If you're driving up the coast, you want to get off the coast ASAP to Waltham.

Are your timings flexible or are any of you going to be commuting during rush hour? If so, I would recommend closer to waltham, like Norwood. I-95 is a really bad anytime in the morning going north there especially if you have to take the 93/95 interchange. If its Norwood, it gives you a chance to skip that interchange and get directly on to I-95. Besides, the traffic towards Providence will be a bit lighter than the one to Waltham.
