Like the title says I am wondering about taking the Green line from Riverside to Newton Center during the week from around 8:30AM to 9:30 AM from Riverside, and wondering if the lot at Riverside still has parking spaces then.

Default Riverside Terminal parking at 8 am

Reopening the old thread..

I'm planning to park my car at Riverside terminal around 8:00 AM and take the green line (D) to Longwood area , i'm wondering whether parking space is available around that time, also read that there is a huge queue to get parking tickets, is there any alternate good parking area to take the Green Line (D) ?

Anyone familiar with the station ?

That's a huge parking lot. I guess the next best alternative would be Woodland station on Rte. 16 near the hospital.

You may get more replies if you post this in the Massachusetts thread instead of Boston.

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm trading my financial district commute for a Back Bay commute so the green line would be an option for me. The higher cost of parking negates the cost savings of trading a commuter rail pass for a T pass though.
