Tomorrow my husband turns in an application for a duplex in Lexington. After the credit report comes back, the place should be ours! Will probably know for sure late tomorrow. Perfect location..can walk to town center and my son can walk to high school. The only bad thing is we have to wait until December and we want to get out of here so badly!!!!!

nice nice. ironic how you spent so much time researching different towns and now it looks like you're headed back to the place you left a few years ago.

The landlord just informed my husband that he doesn't think he can deal with the four little dogs. I begged and pleaded for my son's sake to rent to us and sent our reference letter from our last landlord and her number to him. He said he would take it into consideration that we have never had a complaint and will check our references. Guess I should not have gotten my hopes up.

Puff!!!

I'm catching up on the Massachusetts forum, and this is awesome news!!! Lexington is the place you wanted to live!!! Isn't it funny how things can turn out for the best? I wouldn't worry too much about waiting until December. It will give you plenty of time to get organized and start backing. And once you know you are out of there, things won't bug you as much!!!

Oh, dear, not good news.

Puffle, hang on to this house. You need a place to live. At one point, you said a family member offered to take them two of the dogs. Is that no longer a possibility? I'm just worried it's going to be difficult to find a home that will accept all four.

What if you offer to pay an extra security deposit just for the dogs?

they are more concerned about them being a nuisance and just won't give us a chance.
