Hello,

Just been offered a new job in Framingham. I live in Beacon hill. I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience of reverse commute out west. G-maps says, 20 mins from my place to the new office, but is this realistic? I've read that it can get really bad getting into Boston when there are games in Boston.

Any tips or routes to avoid potential traffic would be highly appreciated as well.
Thanks in advance!

If you worked an early shift and left your house in BH by 6AM you would probably be looking at 30 to 45 minutes. Going home would be longer. Framingham is a panic near the tolls and along rt 9. During the summers and school breaks you might notice lighter patterns. If you like side roads, depending on where you are in Framingham you could come through Waltham/Weston/wayland/Sudbury via 95 and or 20... That might be congested but sitting in 4 lanes of congestion at newton corner can be hellish.

I'd say go for it! Maybe you'll come to like the burbs and move west. As you might already know there is a commuter rail stop on 135 in Framingham...
