OK, we're in New England and it's summer time. What's the verdict?

Some of my favs:

Boston- No Name (is it still open?)

Quincy (Wollaston Beach)- Tony's and The Clam Box (depending on the day)

Mattapoisett- Turk's

Essex- Woodman's and Farnham's

Walpole- Red Wing

Plymouth- Lobster Hut (vaguely recall it being good)

Kimball's Farm- Westford and a few other locations (save room for ice cream!)

Ipswich...The Clam Box!!! The best full belly clams ever and succulent onion rings are a must! To avoid the lines, call and place your order with the girls as you exit rt 95 heading north. By the time you get to the Box in around 15 min, your order will be all ready!

This may make a few mouths water. Funny but I just took this picture a few days ago, that's why I had to share it. On rte 1A in Ipswich. Going north it's on the left. I guess if you get off rte 95 you have to go through town and then it will be on the right.

^ This.

So now that RI is in the equation, I vaguely remember another great clam shack further down towards Sakonnet Point. They might not even still be there.

Fried clams in one of the food items I really miss. Plus a good Lobster stew.

The Clam Box will always be my favorite. For years, we made annual pilgrimages there from Georgia when up to visit family. I have fond memories of Brown's in Amesbury but it wasn't as good when my mom and I went a few years ago.
